Heavy Duty – The durable ones!
Through our long personal involvement, we have come up with the optimal equipment for all stages of a paddler’s training. The equipment is used depending on the marine goals it is called upon to achieve. It is a paddler’s first step to choose a boat and paddle that will make him feel safe by offering the necessary stability so they can concentrate on the educational process. We use plastic boats such as our small but highly featured, NATSEQ by Kayak Innovations. The NATSEQ is a modular kayak, easily transported in a small car, with a length of 4.09 meters and a width of 59 centimeters it is particularly beginner friendly.

For those wishing to delve deeper into sea kayaking, the 505 is recommended. This boat with a length of 5.05 meters and a width of 56 centimeters also offers the necessary sense of security to beginners, who, after gaining the relevant experience, can experience challenging waters and weather, for longer distances, without sacrificing the advantages of more expensive synthetic boats.

These boats are also deployed when conditions get tough and the waves get bigger. Due to the construction material (polyethylene) they are highly durable and would not mind bumping on rocks or the shore when entering / exiting the water.
The Travellers
When the necessary experience and technical training is acquired in time, the next step can be taken and we can move on to synthetic and more demanding boats, with which we set new goals for personal development. The synthetic SEA LION LV and HV and SEA GHOST by AQUARIUS are there, ready to load camping equipment and supplies, go through hard and demanding training, surf and give freely to the fortunate who picked them as their boats.

The Greenlanders
Then, in the fullness of time, it is time for a Roll (sea kayaks are some of the few boats that can capsize and recover with the operator in place), this magical process that makes our small boats not only seaworthy but also ready to tame the biggest waves with unlimited potential. Then, our recommendation is clear, REBEL and purebred Greenlandic boats. ILAGA, GREENLAND T as well as HUSKY are there to take us by the hand and skyrocket our kayaking journey. Boats sweeping the world roll championships and beyond, will take us to where it all began, thousands of years ago. To Greenland (more in the Greenland tradition section)!!!

Concerning paddles, we have taken a clear position in favor of Greenlandic although we own and often practice with of all kinds of them (Wing, Euro and Greenland). Despite our love and admiration for the Greenlandic tradition, for the beginning of the educational we recommend euroblades. This will help the rower understand the dynamics of the blade, the forces that interact with the water as well as the first necessary techniques for a safe cruise. Having gained some experience and depending on their progress and goals, paddlers are introduced to what we have repeatedly referred to as the Greenlandic tradition. As a team, after many trials and countless miles at sea, using all the Greenlandic paddles in the market, we have concluded that X.Gorm suits us. An adjustable carbon fibre paddle with an oval shaft, extending from 215 to 230cm, weighing under 700gr, which made an instant impression once tested. We are honoured that the manufacturer Select Paddles opted us for a permanent and healthy cooperation.Of course, the X.Gorm, like all Greenlandic paddles, requires patience and experience in order for all its greatness to unfold. However, it can also be used from the beginning with proper training.
Wooden Greenland paddles, and a wide range of Euroblade options are also offered by Select Paddles, suited to the occasional paddling needs.
