Open Sea Dreamers (OSD) are a group of childhood friends who connected in their adult lives in a special way through their love for the sea, kayaking and Greenlandic tradition. It all started in 2022 upon completion of the expedition of one of our country’s kayaking clubs, the South Evian Gulf team (SEGT).

Our own Antonis Sotiropoulos participated in this 10-day naval feat that connected Ikaria with Rhodes, an event that was also the seed for the creation of OSD. Upon completion of the expedition and his return to Athens, his two childhood friends, Sotiris Zachopoulos and Synodini Perraki, having had a close relationship with the sea, had made the decision to dare their first steps in sea kayaking. From the first day they stepped on their boats, they loved this world to such an extent that in two years, they covered hundreds of miles on journeys big or short and devoted thousands of hours to training and personal development. The Open Sea Dreamers were born, or else where sea dreams come true. On this page we will share this whole journey!
